Heather Deare West started as an attorney at Stafford Owens in February 2000. Ms. West’s practice focuses on Estate and Trust Law. She has extensive experience in preparing estate planning documents including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Proxies.
Additionally, Ms. West's practice also includes guiding clients through all aspects of the probate process, estate administration, intestate estates (estates without wills) and small estate matters. She also reviews prior estate planning documents, to offer recommendations and updates. Ms. West also has extensive experience in Ancillary/Foreign Estates including Canadian estates.
Ms. West received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1989 from State University of New York at Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, NY. She then received her Juris Doctorate in 1999 from Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, MA.
